Soldering iron temperature controller is used to control the temperature of soldering iron. Soldering iron is a hand tool device that is used for soldering purposes. Soldering iron supplies heat to melt solder so that melted solder can flow between the joint of the two workpieces. Soldering iron is widely used in electrical and electronics working purposes. There are different kinds of soldering irons these are used based on the different kinds of projects.

It means that if you work in the home or residential purposes you just need a small soldering iron, and if you work for the factory or industrial devices then you must require a big soldering iron. The soldering iron temperature controller is using to control the soldering iron temperature. You can connect the soldering to connect the temperature controller to decrease the rising time of the soldering iron temperature. Working principle of soldering iron temperature controller

The temperature of the temperature controller circuit may be varied from the highest value to control the heat dissipation. First of all, connect the temperature controller circuit to the soldering iron to make an increase in iron temperature within a very short time. The TRIAC (Triode for Alternating Current) connects to the temperature controller circuit and switches the high voltage and high current over the parts of an Alternating Current waveform.

The Triode for Alternating Current (TRIAC) is fired in different kinds of angles to obtain a different scale of temperature from 00 to the highest level. The connected DIAC (Diode in Alternating Current) controls the firing in both directions of the circuit or other components.

You can use the potentiometer to control temperature. The working procedure of the soldering iron temperature controller is very easy and simple. You have to generate heat anyhow and you have t use this heat to melt the rojon or soldering element. The soldering iron temperature controller is used to control the soldering iron temperature.

Operation of Soldering Iron Temperature Controller DIAC

DIAC is a Diode in AC and it is consists of three layers and a five layers structure. It begins conducting voltage after breakdown the exceeded certain voltage. Most of the Diode in AC has around 30-volt breakdown voltage if the breakdown voltage reaches the resistance of the component decrease abruptly. For this reason, a voltage drop occurs across the Diode in AC (DIAC) and then the current is an increase.

When the breakdown voltage has reached the resistance of the components suddenly decreases.

Operation of TRIAC

DIAC and TRIAC both are widely for soldering iron temperature control purposes. TRIAC consists of three-terminal devices to control the flow of current for both halves. TRIAC behaves as a conventional type of thyristors these are connected or back to back. It means that one end portion is connected to another beginning point.

Every TRIAC requires a minimum holding current to maintain minimum conduction at waveforms cross the over point. It is easy to say that the TRIAC applied to its gate terminal can be triggered by both negative and positive trigger pulses driven by negative and positive voltages. There are four levels for the construction of TRIAC.

This device can operate in both directions when triggered by a single pulse. Put the PNPN on the positive side and the NPNPT on the negative side. It acts as an open circuit switch that blocks the current in its closed state. TRIAC is widely used in different kinds of electronic works
